Ways in which to have your DSTV setup in your home depend on how and were you want your TV points to be
placed. First you need to think of where you want your TV to be, Next think of which point is to change channels
or which point is to show channels from the other, basically there is a primary and secondary TV set.
For some installations We recommend use of our accredited installer because some DSTV systems can be so
complex and need technical know how, or an experienced installer. All our DSTV installers are certified and have

TRIPLE VIEW
Introducing the new dstv triple installation, we recommend use of accredited installers, dstv triple view is a
viewing environment where three rooms in the same house watch different pictures simultaneously or at the
same time. this is a latest upgrade from multichoice that was started in 2016. however it only supports
combinations of the dstv explora and small Hd decoders only.

Xtra view
This capability is charged 80 rands per month, This enables another decoder to be connected
with the primary decoder but both viewers are able to change channels at the same time
simultaneously. An added advantage is more multiple TV’s can be connected to this type of
subscription to create a large viewing experience
HD capability
The ability to view channels streamed in High definition over the DSTV network. some of the
channels broadcast are sent with high precision video quality. which is far a better picture than
channels without HD.
Pause Rewind Record capability
Don’t want to miss you favorite Monday morning show. with the recording capability you are
able to record you favorite program even if you are at work and wish to watch a program
later, have you missed a part on the TV show, rewind enables you to go back to that part that
you have missed and watch it , Then later go back to live TV .Now viewers don’t have to stay
focused on TV , just rewind play and record. Note only some decoders have this capability and
if not installed well ,will have difficulty in performing these tasks.
CATCH UP
Available to only DSTV premium subscribers at no extra cost. you catch up with the best
programs viewed in the week in your own time either on your decoder or Online. Catch up offer
users over 400 hours of content to watch on there decoders, in other words its the best
programming stored for you to watch at any time you want to , catch up lasts up to one week
DSTV BOX OFFICE | MOVIE RENTALS
This is a service for DSTV premium subscribers and HD PVR subscribers. Box office allows user to
watch movies that haven’t yet been shown on he DSTV network. this is done through a rental
process. its like renting a movie form a video store, but this is done at the comfort of your home
